Haydn Jones is an author of adult fiction. He lives in the UK and his books are available from his own company, Watermark Publications, on Smashwords, Amazon and Apple.
He has released a number of novels in different genres, including: The Angels of Destiny, The Devil and the Unicorn and The Journal of Harry Somerville.

Under the pen name of Harry Waterman, he has written a gritty murder mystery trilogy which includes: 'Shroud the Truth With Silence,' 'Retribution' and the recently released, 'Bulldogs and Pure Silk.'
Book four in the series, entitled, 'The Baker's Dozen' is due for release in the spring of 2024.
Harry Waterman's books are available as a download, paperback and hardback.

What motivated you to become an indie author?

I enjoy the freedom it offers the writer. The challenges are not to be ignored but the rewards for success are there. The world is now the stage and that is an exciting prospect for any writer. The book industry is changing, because the current model that traditional publishers use is, I believe, flawed. Visionaries like Mark Coker are enabling great books to be available to a global market.
Whether the book is a success or not is decided by the readers and not the publishers.

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?

To get feedback from someone who has engaged with a character in the book. A good review is also uplifting.
