Mark Elley


Mark Elley (b. 1948) was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. He studied and received degrees in history and education at the University of Western Ontario in London. He furthered his education at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He was a successful educator for 38 years and a championship aquatics coach for 39 years in both Canada and the United States.
He has begun a series of John Doyle mysteries based on true stories and events that took place in the late 1960’s and the 1970’s. He will take us on John’s journey from a late teenager through his working years as he takes on the world of crime as an undercover investigator including drugs, murder, and the IRA and jewel thieves.
Mark has a wife, Lynda of 43 years and one daughter. He and his wife travel extensively in the British Isles and Europe.
