Karen Lundquist

Karen Lundquist is an attorney, legal language consultant, author and speaker. In writing this book, she combines passions for law, languages and language learning and teaching. These are the same passions that she brings to her work as a legal language consultant with her firm, Karen Lundquist Legal Language Consulting. Karen is also a practicing attorney, providing legal services to businesses in Minnesota on employment and business law matters. Her firm is Attenza Law. As an attorney, Karen brings a unique and expert perspective to the legal English courses and classes that she offers her clients through her language consulting business.

Karen currently lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota (USA), although she has lived abroad for many years in Italy, Chile and Mexico. She has taught for nearly twenty years, including more than ten years as an English instructor in Rome, Italy. Her teaching experiences, plus her own experiences as a language student and an attorney, make her uniquely qualified to write a book like English for the Law: Legal English Discussions for EFL and ESL Students.
