Another enjoyable alien escape romance in the Brides of the Mylos series. What I enjoy the most about these stories is that it’s all about the story and the characters and not so much about their sex lives. Sometimes you just want a good romance with some heated scenes that add to the overall romance without overwhelming it. Melissa was an older unwed mother who matches perfectly with Junrig, who was also older although he was much older than Melissa. They had to go through some things I didn’t expect but loved reading. And the bonus scene at the end was a true bonus. Loved it.

Well, this one had a lot more action than I anticipated that’s for sure! I loved the whole theme of a bad girl trying to go good and her handsome alien mate. Characters from other books show up and there is a lot going on. To me, the book is more about Mari and not so much about Kranow but maybe it’s just me. I enjoyed the book is what matters.
