Nikki Ashton

I live in the UK in the county of Cheshire with my husband, two dogs and lovely mother-in-law who supplies me with endless cups of tea. I'm still chastised by my mum for my potty mouth and try to embarrass my nephews and nieces at any opportunity. When I'm not doing that I write romance with a touch of humour and lots of love, and hopes that I put a smile on my reader's faces. My ambitions of becoming a writer started at the age of 10 when I started writing poetry at school, and was given the honour of reading one of my poems to the rest of her year group (a truly embarrassing experience that I will never forget - do you know how bad it is being called teacher's pet by your whole year group!). I'm grateful for the wide variety of strange and wonderful people in her life, otherwise I'd never know what to write about! I'm currently talking to family and friends, finding out their innermost secrets in readiness for my next book.
