A woman is the force of nature, she can crush and crumble any taboo and social barriers. This is one of the finest Jay's stories about Antebellum era. In this story black women take their fate in their hands. The plantation overseer is a mean fiend, he's going to hire more flayers to lash black farmhands. But evil is helpless before a pregnant woman's big and round belly. You gotta love Jay's style of writing. He's mastered the fast, but subtle story build up. It's so thrilling to read how the man penetrate the woman's boundaries, then her awaken desire overcome her, the table is turned and the man is in the woman's power, there is no escape.

The author has mastered his skill to write about couples who overcome any barriers between them. Those two meet each other in the clash of severe social and racial conflicts. But a man and a woman have nothing to strife over. They are halves of something more. The author modestly says he's a story teller about impregnation. But he is able to depict how a woman decides to give her man the ultimate gift, to bear his child. He writes not only about sex, but love and devotion. Those two becomes a couple long before they realize it, you gotta love how the author in a subtle way writes about they growing relationship. It was a pure pleasure to wait when they say 'I love you' to each other.

Just a story how a boy met a girl. But in Jay's case you can always expect something refreshing. He had his protagonist make a choice between an easy path to wealth and unconditional love of a black girl. Many decent people succumbed to the temptation. Will be the main character able to see which girl give him herself fully?

I follow the history of the Childs family since 2015, when I discovered Jason's stories. I was captivated by the drama of forbidden love. Tragic love stories are my cup of tea. When I was a boy, I liked to read romance novels by Ivan Turgenev, a Russian author from the XIX century. Love crushes any sacred and ridiculous boundaries, love knows no borders, love knows no shame, but only passion and will to live and feel. Turgenev would applaud to this story himself, because this is his life story. Like Thomas, he lived and loved a girl outside his circle, a serf peasant girl. But their feelings to each other was the only thing what did matter to him. Of course, he was a bright young man and perfectly knew what would happen when some busybody notices her swollen belly. His soul was alive while that precious flower of their love bloomed. When a person has experienced such love, his life has not been in vain. I relived my first love emotions while reading this story. It's thick of tense sentiments, even when you're 40, your heart beats faster.

One of the best Jay's stories which left a warn feeling after you read the last page. The protagonist not only managed to tap all those girls, but he also found his true love. I liked to follow his character's development. Vonna was just a substitute girl when Tanisha put a cock block before his smug face. But he started to show signs that he cared about the woman he was trying to make babies with. He wanted to hi-jack her reproductive system, and became the victim of her feminine charms. Girl power! I can only wonder what would happen with Paul. If he could impregnate all the girls, or succumb to the one of them. Maybe he would rub Tanisha's big belly, chuckling at her annoyed look. A man can dream.

I've read plenty of romance novels. Authors of the XIX century often adressed to the theme of boundaries between lovers to show how love crashes and crumbles any obstacles before peoples in love. There is no such thing these days. Except one. You can say what you want about women, but they can be grateful and merciful. The main character works like a mule to provide a decent life to his widowed mother and sister. And they reward him in the most womanly way. The sex scenes are full of carnality, as always, but the story is full of tension and pent up emotions, that's the best thing in Jay's stories. "Make them laugh, make them cry, make them wait,” was Dickens's motto and his method. And it's Jay's method too, apparently. I'm waiting for his new stories.

One of my favorite genres is romance novels, but not sweet ones, like a bun, but life ones. This is exactly what the author writes. I liked the book, it was interesting, I liked the plot. I read it with pleasure, and what made me happy is that you enjoy every line, you can’t just stop reading it, and you don’t want it to end. I also liked the main character, his life has changed, I like to see what happens to him next, how this whole story will end. Moreover, I was pleased that there was no predictability in his actions, there was no feeling that you completely knew the end of the story. The intrigue holds up well. I like the way the book is written, the style is not complicated, and this makes the book easy and quick to read. The author touches on an important topic: how a woman changes a man. Far from being a pillar of society, the protagonist falls under the influence of her charms, his instincts kicking in, prompting him to protect his woman. A woman changes a man for the better. The book is controversial, but for lovers of dark romantic stories like me, it is perfect.

Even the most bitter man has a vulnerability to a certain woman. Even in the most gruesome circumstances a man and woman can become a thing. Three black women find themselves in a difficult situation. But a woman can awaken a man's instincts to protect her. It's simple, we belong to each other, we survived for aeons this way. Excellent build-up, hot sex scenes. In the end you just want them to have fruits of their union.
