  • Go Home, Afton (Afton Morrison, #1) on June 26, 2018

Go Home Afton was a really interesting and action packed read. I loved how Afton’s character developed along the way. Homicidal librarian? Small town? Strong female lead? Yes please! I recommend this book to those who like thrillers, anti-hero types, and a bit of dark humour. Looking forward to book 2!
  • See You Soon, Afton (Afton Morrison, #2) on Aug. 07, 2018

I read this book in one day and literally couldn’t put it down. The first Afton book was a warm up for the mystery, intrigue, and action in this second part of the series. We find out more about Afton’s past and it’s HUGE. I’m not going to spoil it because you have to read it for yourself. Plus, the cliffhanger from book one gets resolved with tons of action along the way. I loved the suspense of it all and I’m excited to see how Afton fixes this mess in the next book. She’s got a ton of work ahead of her.
  • Nice Try, Afton (Afton Morrison, #3) on Sep. 17, 2018

In this book, Afton has a ton of internal struggles with being who she is and wanting to kill people... even if they deserve it. Afton’s friends become even more involved her antics and some of them get hurt in the process. People are dying, the Man in Shadows is playing games. And it’s so good. My favorite part of this book is internal struggle Afton has with wanting to kill. Trying not to spoil anything but once she embraces who she is, things get very interesting. Let’s just say she turns on the badass and it’s so cool to see. And the ENDING... ugh the ending is so good. It’s what I’ve been wanting for 3 books. Definitely looking forward to book 4 to see how she takes care of the her nemesis.
  • Time's Up, Afton (Afton Morrison, #4) on Oct. 31, 2018

The final part of the Afton Morrison Series is here and I couldn't be more satisfied. I absolutely LOVE how Afton accepts who she is and uses her "urges" for good. The humorous scenes keep on coming (anyone else laugh out loud at the bar scene?). And I love how the ending leaves room for me (please let there be more) but also nicely wraps up the questions I had about the plot throughout. 10/10 would recommend for those of use who love a bit of dark humor, strong female leads, and an action-packed story.
  • The Afton Morrison Series (Afton Morrison, #1-4) on Oct. 31, 2018

Homicidal librarian? Small town? Strong female lead? Yes, please! My favorite part of this series is internal struggle Afton has with wanting to kill. Trying not to spoil anything but once she embraces who she is, things get very interesting. Let’s just say she turns on the badass and it’s so cool to see. I also love the side characters. Jones did a fantastic job and letting us as an audience fall in love with them too. Kind makes me want a spin of series... 10/10 would recommend for those of use who love a bit of dark humor, strong female leads, and an action-packed story.

An interesting look at what an evil man will do when faced with his past. How his whole life snowballed into a life of crime. How, when faced with a choice, he’d try to change the future. There were a number of ways this story could have been interpreted. Very interesting read that made me think...

Great writing. Interesting characters. Loved the dialogue. The haunting plot left me thinking for days.
