Broken Book One: Siblings with Benefits.

I purchased and read the first two segments of this 8 part series. I figured that would be sufficient in determining if I wanted to read the rest. At the end of the second book I was thoroughly driven to see the story of Mark and Meghan to its end. I have read a lot of erotica--most of it forgettable--but this was/is truly a first class work. As Laura states in her biography "My smut has depth dammit!" The story of Mark and Meghan is essentially a love story. The fact that Mark loved Meghan no matter what she had done or what she looked like in her worst moments reminded me of Forrest Gump's love for Jenny. Anyways, I loved reading this saga and kind of wonder if its' author has experienced the kind of love she describes in this series?

OK, so with this book you've done it Laura, you are my favorite author of erotica! I have read several of her other books--and will read more--but so far this is my favorite. Her stories, to me, have a common theme= lust is fine but lust with love is sublime. This recurring theme conjures up the quote (from Shakespeare I believe?) "Love looks not with the eyes but with the mind, therefore is winged Cupid painted blind." Enough said.

Another great series from a master writer of erotica. I think what sets Lovecraft's work apart from others is her attention to detail. She paints pictures with her words. I look forward to reading part 4 as well as the next installment of The Mom Experience.

I just finished reading the final book in this series. The story kept me hooked to the end. I am a sucker for happy endings and this one had that. T he sex scenes were descriptively hot between two people who loved one another. All around a pleasant read.

I liked this story. You cannot cheat and justify it. Revenge was over the top but the cheating spouse got what she deserved.
