I enjoyed it a lot! The relationship of the MC between the ML and his family (and friends) is really cute and heartwarming. There's not a lot of conflict or plot heavy stuff happening so if you're expecting that, please look elsewhere. This story is more slice of life, and while there may be a few bumps in the road, there' no major huge drama that causes some tragedy.

Reading this for the first time it was a bit hard to get into— There's a bit of an info dump of the present time (where Chi Nan has become Salinger's assistant), to introduce the band, jumps to the past where Chi Nan first meets Salinger before slowly transitioning back to the current situation. It isn't bad but it's pretty "huh??" moment reading it the first time because it's not a scene you can appreciate immediately. Anyways! Tbh, for the first volume I found the ending not as strong as in vol 2, and it can be pretty meandering with Chi Nan's thoughts, but Chi Nan our MC has been really charming that I can't help but give this 5 out of 5 stars. Also, it's the best one edited/proofread among the 3 volumes. I hope anyone who buys to try this would enjoy and push through the 3rd volume, it's slow burn but the ending is fulfilling!
