At the age of fifteen, Russell Hasan read “Atlas Shrugged” and decided that he wanted to become a philosopher and novelist when he grew up. Since then, he has written several books, with a focus on fantasy and science fiction, libertarian politics, and philosophical epistemology.
He majored in philosophy at Vassar, holds a law degree from the University of Connecticut, and at different points in his life has worked as a lawyer and as a software engineer. His distinctions include having written for the famous libertarian magazine Liberty for several years, and having read over three hundred fantasy and science fiction novels during his lifetime.
He lives in the United States, and is an obsessive New York Yankees fan.
