Biography

I am originally from Southern Illinois. I have worked in healthcare since 1996 and am currently a radiology administrator for an academic health system in Kansas City, Kansas. My husband, our two teenagers and I live on a small farm and raise Belted Galloway cattle (Oreo cows) and chickens. Even though writing isn't my full-time job, I love the process of writing and never know how a story might develop as I progress.

What is your e-reading device of choice?
I like reading Google Play books right on my phone. I have a Kindle too, but I find my phone is more convenient since I always have it with me.
What do you read for pleasure?
I love anything by Alexander McCall Smith. I first discovered his beautiful way of making ordinary characters into people I felt like I knew forever through his Mma Ramotswe series. I love the Professor Dr. Dr. Moritz-Maria von Igelfeld series, especially Portugese Irregular Verbs.
I enjoy historical fiction, biographies; nothing is off limits, really.

    Enjoyable read. Lots of amusing, quirky characters. Michael Wilton does a great job of portraying the people, gossip and events that make small towns so special. Lighthearted and fun! Highly recommend!
