I am definitely a fan of this series. I really love where the author's mind goes with every character she has given us the pleasure of getting to know. This book is beautifully written. I can guarantee that once you start, you won't be able to put it down until you're done. I love Camille and Drake so much, that I just had to get my hands on the next two books and read them, too! I eagerly await the release the fourth book of this series. Sexy centaurs and loads of background information to go with it, I'm obsessed with these beautifully magical creatures and everything they stand for.

I loved this series so much and Ms Straight was kind enough to gift me coupons to read the next two books in her series. I'm obsessed, I'll admit, but can we please just talk about Daniel Gaskins? I'm fully team Daniel. He's a great character and I found myself rooting for him more than anyone else. You can tell that with each book, the story is getting darker. We're marching towards a battle between some of the fiercest, most beautiful creatures that have never earned enough credit in the history of novels. You will be excited, you'll be scared, and you might even cry a few times when you read this book. Nancy Straight is a genius. I'm still a #1 fan of Drake and Camille, still hating Zandra--but I LOVE DANIEL!

I'm a little nervous to be the first review on this book, but I can promise no one will be disappointed. The battle is getting closer, and at least there are a few happy moments that will leave the readers satisfied. Camille and her family are still preparing for the war that will inevitably take place with the Centaur Council. Camille is fighting for her family to be able to live in peace, but everything is being threatened. That Zandra Chiron is relentless and a lot of new villains may be making a debut in the fourth book. I can just feel it. You pick up where the last book left off, and it never misses a beat. By now, the characters should feel like family for the reader. You're going to be rooting for all of them, and you're going to be ready for this war when it finally happens. The last few paragraphs of the book will have your adrenaline pumping, I promise. Ms. Straight does not disappoint.
