Smashwords Interview

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in the inner city in Houston, TX. That inner city environment had a great impact on my passion to write on social and philosophical issues. The secular paradigms that are rampant in the inner city are diametrically opposed to the Christian views that were established in the home in which I was reared.

I was precocious as a child, which led to a great deal of anatomizing the plight of the people in my periphery. It would be this type of analytic thinking conjoined with teachers that pushed be to achieve; that leading to the culmination of publishing countless articles and four books to this point.
When did you first start writing?
I have been writing in creative format as long as I can remember. As far as formal writing, my first published article was in high school. My first nationally published article "The Invisible Father" was in high school as well. That topic led to my first published book bearing the same name.
