Theme Travel News Turns Travelers into Reporters and Published Ebook Authors.
Korean start up will share a content platform that provides unique themed travel perspectives from world travelers turned journalist at SXSW 2014.
Seoul, South Korea- Theme Travel News (http://themetn.com) is the first and only content platform that connects travelers with media and publishers. The developers will be showing their platform March 8-12 at the SXSW Trade Show in Austin, TX, booth #1208. They will be alongside a delegation of 9 other Korean start ups known as "Geeks from Gangnam."
Any traveler can become a Theme Travel News (TTN) reporter after completing a one day Academy. Once a reporter, they can write twice monthly about chosen travel themes from their own unique perspective. After reporting for one year, their news is published as an ebook and distributed through their app on Google Play and other ebook markets.
With the emphasis on reporting in cohesive themes from the traveler's point of view, TNN encourages unique and deeper series content. This can even include not so common subjects such as fantasy travel scenarios, journeying through the youth hostels of the world, or exploring the hidden alleyways of a home town.
Established in December of 2013, TTN already has several ebooks available through their Android app on Google Play (http://bit.ly/1f8KDcy). Visitors to their SXSW booth will be able to view beautiful photography of Korea taken by TTN reporters.
