On his second day as restaurant manager, Gil Stone met Lauren Williams, Morris Pointe hotel's manager, and nothing was ever the same again. After their initial attraction, they chose to be friends. As their friendship grew, so did their frustration. In time, circumstances conspired to draw them together again. This time, they couldn't deny there was much more than friendship growing between them.

Lauren and Gil want to be married. They don't want a big wedding. They invite eight friends and relatives to join them for five days in the sun of south Florida and a wedding. Of course the bride and groom have plans for the weekend, and their honeymoon the week after, but some of the other members of the wedding party have their own agendas.
