One branch crossing in deep space at a rogue dwarf planet drifted so far into the past that it became untraceable. The asteroid belt mining station should not have been at this location. It became observable when it crossed lines with Log 2020-EA.
An Empire of thirty-eight planets quarantined was another trace going back near the beginning, but the off shoot wouldn’t produce a clear trace.
