The Old Store

An anthology of 26 themed short stories. A highly infectious, deadly plague took advantage of modern mass transport systems. It all but eradicated the populations of several continents. Yet more action and adventure set in the Families post-apocalyptic world. This second volume of Lost Tales complements 'The Old Store: A Science Fiction Anthology'. It wasn't simply the occasional peril falling on the Families in their search for new stocks of fuel and ammo, the presence of Rat's gang, Snake's deserters and Snake's bid to retake what he'd lost combined to add to the danger.

Rat roars across a destroyed landscape, leading his gang of motorbike marauders armed with a newly found cache of automatic weapons. Rat is bent on taking over as the biggest wheel in the next place they hit town. Lost Tales Volume 3 contains the sequel stories of Rat and his outfit as he leaves behind the city with the Old Store and aims ever upwards. Also included: bonus story 'Ambush'.

After narrowly escaping the massacre suffered by Rat's biker gang, Calli seeks a route less likely to end in deadly pursuit. Still with a thirst for adventure, she joins a small party riding a train across the post-apocalyptic landscape.
