This guide is essential for the newbie and experienced user - there are a few topics in this book that are almost secrets. After 15 years setting up my computers, my extended family, and nearly everyone in the office two levels up and down the ladder - finally there is a guide I can just point them too rather than giving them the Nick Burn 'move!' command.

Wow!!! What a great little book. Even though my system has been installed for quite some time, I was able to go through and very easily adjust many system settings that were misbehaving. The book show which 'things' in the system are useful, very useful, and not so useful. The book is a very easy read and the changes are well documented and easy to implement.
I highly recommend this to anyone that wants to tweak their system for maximum speed and reliability.
