Ten-year old Johanna living in County Dublin, Ireland has always been told she's too nosy.
Yet when she sees a man using a strange device on Mrs Shackelton, her neighbour, Johanna must do something about it.
After all it isn't often a girl who wants to be a policewoman-detective-reporter or as she calls it a "politecter" gets to unveil the mystery affecting her parents' behaviour as well as her whole neighboorhood.

Very good work! I love these kind of fantasies and you really brought me, as the reader, into the mind of the child and I could vividly see what she could see. Very enjoyable. Big clap!

This story is for younger readers but I enjoyed it nonetheless. It speaks to the child inside you and how everything in the world used to be mysterious.
