Stacey Wallace Benefiel is the author of the Zellie Wells trilogy, the Penny Black trilogy, the Day of Sacrifice Omnibus, the Open Door Love Story series, and multiple short stories. She sometimes goes by S.W. Benefiel or Reina Stowe, but knows she’s not foolin’ anybody.
Stacey lives in an orange house in Beaverton, OR with her two young kids who have old people names. When she’s not writing, thinking about writing, or driving the kids around, Stacey is most likely volunteering to do all the things or running to relieve the stress of volunteering to do all the things.

ANTHOLOGY IN HIS EYES...
MIND GAMES BY SUSAN KAYE QUINN
I found this story to be a rare treat. Raf is perfectly drool worthy, but shows kindness and loyalty to his friend, the girl of his dreams. Yep, a complete package this Raf is a keeper:) This is a tantalizing tidbit that makes the reader want more!
GETTING CLOSER by Lisa Nowak
I found this story was a great example to YA, that there is more to it all than whose hot and whose not:) That friendship, caring compassion are great attributes to celebrate everyday!
Precalculus by Cory Putman Oakes
This is another great story that empahizes a young man who puts responsibility above what he “wants” he does what’s right with all his ability, even though his heart says differently.
Family Bonds by Heather McCorkle
This story hits the spot for those that love fire and spark battles, with just the right amount of intrigue and mystery!
Shattered by Ali Cross
Ms. Cross lures you into Shattered, mesmerizes you with the world she creates and then leaves the reader no other choice…to read her full length novel, BECOME, featuring Desi, James and Miri!
IN HIS EYES (ANTHOLOGY) BY THE INDELIBLES AUTHORS
These stories are just examples of all the wonderful adventures that lie inside the cover of IN HIS EYES

my mini review for Mind Games by Susan Kaye Quinn...
Mind Games is the prequel, from the anthology In His Eyes, based off the book Open Minds by Susan Kaye Quinn, which I absolutely adored. I loved Kira in Open Minds…but getting Raf’s POV in Mind Games was a real treat. I really feel more for him than I originally did. In this short story Raf is battling the voices of his friends and classmates while struggling to find a way to ask Kira to the Gamesdance. But when Jessica, a girl interested in Raf, threatens to hurt Kira, Raf must decide if asking Kira is really worth it.
Quinn what are you doing to me? What a tease! Oh Raf, yeah I am in need of more of him. He is too sweet and too kind. This anthology was a fabulous idea to peek into the minds of the guys from some of our favorite stories. Great little short story. I adore you Quinn and cannot wait for Closed Hearts to be released.
my mini review for By the Firelight by Elle Strauss...
Had I impressed her in the same way she'd blown my socks off?" Loved that sentence in the story.
I first fell in love with Nate in Clockwise back in November. But getting Nate's POV in By the Firelight (short story from anthology In His Eyes) was so much fun. He had a few snarky comments, that he kept to himself of course, in fear of getting his head knocked off by Casey. We get to see what he was feeling and thinking about his first time travel trip back to 1860, unlike in Clockwise. Nate is not sure if Casey is crazy, the guys are punkin’ him, or if what’s happening is really real. Poor guy! Little does he know this is only the beginning. Even though this was a short story, Strauss did a fabulous job! I was sad that it ended so quickly.

I have really struggled with how to review this book because it so such a large collection of different stories. If you love YA, this book definitely has something for you here. I loved meeting all the characters! And I'm sure that it accomplished its purpose, lol, because now I want to read EVERY book that this anthology is based upon....... Thanks Ladies!!! There are really sweet stories all throughout this book. There is no way that I can go into details about every single one so, I am just going to highlight the ones that I were my favorites if that's ok. But like I said before, I truly want to read every single book that these shorts are based upon!
So now for my favorites, I especially loved the first story, called "Surprise, Surprise", about Raleigh and Melody from the Zillie Wells Trilogy! Wow! Its just what every girl dreams of! I don't want to tell what happens because I don't want to ruin it. But if you think about about the most romantic thing you can think of that a guy could possibly do.... well, if you are anything like me, this would be it! Its so incredibly sweet! *tear* I loved it!
The next one that I want to touch in is called "The Qualm Before the Storm'. I love this story because, the main character Treygan (LOVE his name by the way) is supposed to carry out some orders. These orders will be carried out against the will of the girl and he wants to fight for her right to choose the right path for herself. He fights against everything that he knows will happen if he doesn't do what he is supposed to, but he can't help thinking about how it is going to effect her. How drastically her life is going to be changed. I think he is a very admirable man for putting her before himself, even in spite of the consequences that effect him later. Hehe who wouldn't want to go into the water with Treygan anyway!
Another one that I loved was "In the Beginning". Who doesn't love the thought of having a guardian, even if you didn't know they are there. Well what if that guardian was in love with you? What if all he can do is sit back and watch you and love you from afar. He can never touch you face, or hold you tight. But yet, he loves you still. He will do everything he can to protect you. That is what Seth is faced with in this story. He is in love with Genesis even though it is forbidden and he can only love her from afar without making himself known to her. I feel so bad for him, and find myself praying over and over that somehow, he will get to be with her in the end. Though at the end of this story it isn't looking so good... What will happen? I DON'T KNOW!! I gotta read the book too! And believe me its on my to do list!
These are just a few of the great stories in this book! My only problem, was just that they left me wanting more. Which is what they were designed to do. But now, lol, I am in misery! Soooo, now I have a lot more books on my to read list!
