I thoroughly enjoyed this series! I could hardly put my Nook down (i carried it everywhere - cooking, doing laundry, etc) The characters were so believably real and I felt like I was actually there. She does an awesome job putting audience in the book! Can't wait for new series!

I enjoyed this entire series. My only wish is that it was better edited. I read the words "her bear arms" too many times for my liking. Unless the character was an actual bear, the word is bare. There were many other grammer issues to make the reader cringe. Thankfully the story made up for it enough to continue reading.

As the reviewers before have already stated....so sad to see the series come to an end... This was a well written young adult series with some very tough issues and trials. If there should be more books to follow I would love to read them!

I absolutely loved this series. This final book did not disappoint and my only complaint at the end was that it was over! It was full of adventure and emotion and (as with the rest of the books in the series) I read it within 2 days.
Rachel Higginson kept me enthralled throughout the four books. I felt very connected with the characters and I found myself laughing out loud at times and truly enjoying the interaction between them. I was surprised how my opinion of certain characters changed while reading the books and I think the author deserves so much credit for this as the books are not predictable and I went through a rollercoaster of emotions with them.
I recommend this whole series to other readers and I cannot wait to read more from this author!

Even as a little old lady, I enjoyed reading this series. The characters were well-defined and I enjoyed the fact that they all matured and learned to live with the consequences of their actions. Or inactions. The theme - justice - is an ongoing real subject and the timing and phasing in of events seemed real. Some small complaints. Spelling, choice of verbs and adjectives and grammar needed editing. Some choices for Eden's body language were off-putting. Nobody over ten (I think) crosses their arms or stomps their feet when they're angry. I'm thinking it's mostly a hands-on-hips-and-head-and-upper-body-forward-and-yelling-thing. Other than that, I'll miss Eden and Kiran's adventures.

I got the first of this series free...FABULOUS read!! As soon as I was done with the first, I had to go get the next 2 that were available, devoured those, then found that this last one had just been finished. Devoured the last one :) I really enjoyed this story! Rachel is VERY talented. The story line was superb and fast moving, the characters were not just likable, I fell in love with them. I loved the setting for this story too, contemporary, here on this world (where I am familiar with. LOL), but yet have a historical bend to it. Now that I finished this series, I have been trying to get through the other half dozen ebooks that I got for free, and they just can't compare to this series. I look forward to reading future works by Rachel.

I am super sad to have this series end. I would love for Rachel to apply the passion of this series to a slightly older character...i identified with the feelings Eden displayed but i had to remind myself that Eden was only 17. My question now is what do i do now that eden is living happily ever after...can we get a side series-maybe the beginning of her parents storyor even further back to Amory....Rachel....????

I really enjoyed the series as a whole. The last book was kind of rambling at times. I feel like it took forever to get there and when you finally get to the good part of the book then it's over too quickly. Overall, I did enjoy this book as much as the other books in the series. I hope that Mrs. Higginson has much success in the future.

I cannot rave about this book or this series enough! I got the first book free, and I wasn't even 1/4 of the way into it and I bought the next 2. I read each of them in a day, doing nothing except reading...no housework, no sleeping...I was consumed! The last book wasn't available quick enough on Amazon, so I bought it on Smashwords to get it, I couldn't wait. I couldn't even read it for 4 more hours, I had to work. THAT my friends, is how AWESOME this series and this book is. Rachel Higginson has quickly become one of my most favorite authors and I stalk her page weekly for information on new books or other words from her. I plan to re-read this series often, as I cannot get enough of the characters and the world she created. You will not regret reading this book!

I absolutely loved this series!! I got the first book free from Barnesandnoble.com and purchased books two and three as soon as I finished the first. The last book is not available on barnesandnoble.com so I made my first ever purchase here at smashwords to get it.
I actually liked this series so much that I am re-reading them now to catch some of the things I wouldn't have gotten the first time through. This is a great story. On top of that, it is clean, so my daughter can read it as well. I will definitely be watching for other books by Mrs. Higginson!!
