Thank you Branco for giving One Life to Live the tribute it deserved. With the exception of Soap Opera Digest no other magazine gave the show a full tribute that the show truly deserved.

For any soap enthusiast, Nelson Branco's "Between Heaven and Hell — A One Life To Live Tribute" is more than just a tribute to the greatest of Agnes Nixon's legacies. Woven in this tapestry of retrospectives are key areas which address the problems not only confronting the soap industry but American society in general.
For the academic, Branco's stroll through the history of OLTL will be a crystal clear reminder of just how the ingredients of fictional Llanview, PA touched the lives of millions. For the die hard OLTL viewer, Branco's book presents solid evidence to support the passions which envelope OLTL fans. Until such time as Disney's ABC and Kwatinetz's Prospect Park capitulate and give OLTL its proper place back in production, this book serves as a catalyst for fact finders and investors alike in understanding what it was and what it is to keep this finest Nixon work alive for at least another generation!
