Prequel to Book One of The Gifted Series

Lily East is different from other people and has been since her birth. The government has been trying to recruit her, wanting to use her uncontrollable gift to their advantage. After years of evading, Lily finally gives into her "civic duty" and helps the government solve cases gone cold. Her life outside of being a special agent is far from normal. And as if that isn't enough, she finds herself falling in love with the man who almost killed her. This is life, as she sees it.

Coming soon, in Book One of The Gifted Series, you will learn the whole story, and how Lily's powers came to be. I hope you'll enjoy this novella until then.

I really enjoyed this book. Lily sounds like a Katniss Everdeen with the power of Time Travel. I totally recommend this book and can't wait for more!

I really enjoyed reading about Eileen (Lily) Lillian East and Bradly Trinity on their awesome quest on going back through time for the FBI, until something tragic happens, which leaves Lily blind! Even though she cant see I believe that there is more to Lily then we truely know about. I am extremely HUNGRY to find out more about Lily East!! Thank AshleyNicole Shelton

The Blind Lily doesn't waste any time getting into the action! Right from the start when we are introduced to Lily she is kicking some serious butt! This girl is tough and definitely not someone that you want to mess with lightly!

This was quite a quick and easy read. I would say that if you sat and read the book from start to finish it would only take a couple of hours. Even though it was a quick read an awful lot happens and it spans quite a broad time frame.

Being such a short read I really don't want to give away any of the plot details, but one of the things that I loved in The Blind Lily was the authors description of the time travel, from the feelings, to the tastes and the smells..... "Being in the time portal is like soaring through space. Inside this invisible tunnel, I smell flowers when I am happy, raw fish when I have sour feelings, and when I am angry, I normally smell something like burning tar. My least favorite part is the temperature; it is always so cold. Like the air conditioning turned on full blast. Light and darkness blend together making sight difficult. I can only see the scenes that I'm passing by, when I don't look right at them. I can only use my periphery vision; otherwise all I see is darkness.".....

I'm really interested in where part two will take us in Lily's journey and seeing how she will adjust to the obstacles that she was facing at the end of book one! All in all, an enjoyable read with plenty of action and some romance thrown in for good measure!!.... 3.75/5

The main character of the book is Eileen but everyone calls her lily. She has a special gift where she can time travel. The FBI is after her because they are wanting kids with special gifts like her. She is running from thembecause she doesn't want to work for them and when they almost catch up to her it lands her in the lap of theboy she falls in love with. This book has some suspnse at the beginning and some drama later on its a romanticlove story, that has twist and turns along they way. Close to the end it gets sad and you fall in love with the character Lily, I can't wait to see what happens with Lily and Brad in book two.
