I read "The Wreck of the Nebula Dream" in one sitting, which is incredible considering I have a toddler in the house who wants mommy's full attention. Although I felt the beginning was a tad slow on pace - it captured my curiousity and held me until the pace picked up. Ms. Scott created a very credible universe that I could jump into and be a part of. I loved the hero, as a military wife I can relate to what was going on in his head. I didn't connect as much with some of the secondary characters (LOVED the elderly regal woman - apologies i cannot remember the planet she was from right now *off to check* the Mellurean Lady - she was awesome). By the end of the book, I had a vested interest in the characters.
Overall, this was a very enjoyable read. I look forward to checking out more books by Veronica Scott.

I just finished reading, "The Wreck Of The Nebula Dream". The characters are easy to bond with as they are believable, heroic, quirky, and enjoyable. This story is very suspenseful and full of unexpected twists. Being the first time I have read a book by Veronica Scott, I did not know what to expect. But having really enjoyed the story I will certainly search out other books by this author. I recommend this one to all.
