I was born in a devious and backward village in central area of China in 1980s. Later 1990s was a tough period of time in which most of my peers dropped out of school for poverty. Yet I was fortunate to complete primary school with generous financial support from my mother, despite she having endured hardships and having been tortured by sickness over years. Then, I was admitted to secondary school for previously excellent school records. Since then, I knew I had to carry the dream - to change the fate of my family by my own efforts. This was exactly when tragedy caught me. Outstanding as I was in earning high grades, I went mad under a mountain of stress, and finally, I was sentenced for murdering my own sister. After being released from the jail, I once experienced a turbulent life - be discriminated, be spitted and be beaten. The pains caused by schizophrenia still haunted me from time to time, although my mentality had been under the control of psychoactive drugs. At that time, re-entering the society seemed difficult to me, either as a former inmate or mental patient, but I never failed to give up. It was my ceaseless self-improvement that saved myself from the quagmire in which I was plunged into and restored my values of being a contributor to my family and community. The day that I had been looking forward to building up my business came at long last, with mere 2,000 RMB as startup costs. Having experienced so many ups and downs, nowadays I manage to run my individual household with estimated revenue dozens of thousands per month, which has greatly improved the living conditions of my family, and protest for establishing a charity foundation to provide students from lower-income families in China with psychological guidance. Besides, I have ever published a scholarly work on the essence of human development and social transformation in the U.S. with Chinese edition, titled as the World to be saved and the World to be destroyed.
I am going to establish an institution which is specialized in helping poor children by raising some money. It focuses on mental health education freely.I beg you to support me and tell ten people about my story! Many thanks.

The descriptive nature of this short story makes it a creepy read. Just needs to be a little longer.

This is a very good short story. Written in a eerie enough way to make to look over your shoulder and avoid mirrors for awhile.
Thanks for sharing this.

Wow! Excellent short story. Well written and very easy to read. I didn't get bored at all. I also liked the song and the ending was awsome. Maybe you could add more information about the little sister but either way the story is perfect.
