I live in Swindon with my family, pet chickens Lucy, Tilly, Bella and Polly and our pet fishes, of whom there are too many to name. I am a writer of children's stories aimed at readers age range of 7 to 11 years old. Reading and writing is the thing I spend most of my time doing but I also enjoy a lot of crafts such as crochet and cross stitch. I like to make my readers feel happy, as I like to feel happy and hope this is reflected in my stories. You may also see books from me in other genres as I like to have a change and do not only write for children.

I read this book and found it as a heartbreaking true story. It is amazing to me how this woman could go through what she has and still have a positive attitude. I have known people that has had some disease that is crushing. I know what she means when she says that she is short of breath. To live with it as long as she has must be terrible. If you have a disease that is as bad as this one, read this book. It may help you hold your head up high, as she has done. I can only say that I wish her the best for the rest of her life. I am now 76 with a breathing problem and other things, but to get something like she has at such an early age, she must be very brave. I thank her for sharing her story.
