Raffiel, master of the God’s Spire, is waiting for his world to end. The Usurper is at his doorstep with an army at his heels. Will Raffiel and his three warlord-lovers be able to fend off this threat? Or will the tower fall and clear the path for absolute victory for the upstart king?
Raffiel is called the butcher poet for his often brutal, but eloquent, reign. He is the lord and master of Presidia, a tower also known as the God’s Spire, which stands high above the world.
The tower is under siege, and Raffiel must rely on his three closest allies (and lovers) to protect him -- the martial Arakiel, the stalwart Shamsiel, and the cunning Bezaliel.
Will they survive the ambitions of the Usurper King, whose hunger for conquest has brought him to Presidia's doors? Or will the tower fall and, with it, the last obstacle in the Usurper's path of domination?
