About Larry Benson

Larry Benson has been a freelance writer for over thirty years and has been fascinated by trains since he was a youngster growing up in Oklahoma a block from the main line of the Rock Island Railroad. He stood beside the tracks and waved at the engineers driving steam locomotives as they roared past. His passion for all things railroad and his proclivity for writing led him to contribute ninety articles for publication in the local train club journal.
While writing these and other various articles, a railroad mystery began to evolve. Ten years in the making, Hobo Justice is his first novel.
He and his wife have two daughters and five granddaughters and currently live in Tallahassee, Florida.
