Extended description

Blinding snow, skidding tires and a busted fender. Lexa Gordon knew she should have paid closer attention to the deteriorating weather, but couldn’t resist spending time in her favorite place – Amsted Park Reserve in Quebec. Stranded without a working phone, she wanders aimlessly through the deep woods, rapidly losing hope of ever being found.

Until she wakes up in the home of a stranger.

However, Lexa is no stranger to Quinn Mackellar. Living in Amsted for years and virtually alone, he rescues Lexa from near death, not knowing that one act would force him to relive his past and a twist of fate that bound the two of them together over twenty years ago.

Driven by curiosity and the desire to understand her new-found attraction to Quinn, Lexa strives to learn the truth. Once she does, will their love survive his dark secret?

This was a very well thought out story. Loved how the point of view changes between the two main characters. Good job.

This is the second book by Ms. Smith that I've read. And like the last one, I really enjoyed it. The characters are easy to like and well thought out, so is the story.

I love how the paranormal is woven into everday life, makes it very believable. Hope she writes more of this type in the future.
