Extended description

Ben has been in love with Kelly for what seems like eternity and to him, their path is as clear as the morning sun… they are meant to be together forever.

But Kelly has come to realise that she can’t return Ben’s feelings… For her, time has been seductive and she suddenly sees that she has been carried along by a river that she no longer wants to travel. So Kelly tells Ben she can’t be with him the way he wants to be with her, but she doesn’t want to give up on their friendship.

Life seems to throw one thing after another at them that test the lengths they will go to save what they have left of their lifelong friendship.

Is Kelly strong enough to fight the current and save her friendship with Ben? Will Ben decide that it is all too much for him?

Or, will they both succumb to the raging river of love and loss to lose much more than just themselves in the process?

This story is based on two friends, Ben and Kelly, who are in high school and learn to accept and embrace their love for one another. This book does have twists and turns over life and death. I did have a few issues with the book, the ending is abrupt and a few things leave you confused. I think this would be a great story for middle/ high schoolers to read. Great story line, just needs some polish.
