About Amy Gamet

I'm a USA Today bestselling author with three kids, a husband, a slightly stinky and poorly trained dog, and an ancient calico cat who doesn't like people.

My house is in a perpetual state of disarray despite my constant attempts to clean it. Old women at grocery stores tell me how lucky I am, that it all goes so fast, and I nod my head and say something pithy like, "It sure does!" while trying to keep the baby from changing the language on the card reader screen or voiding my entire transaction.

I'm that woman.

People ask when I find time to write, and I point to my husband, the sweet frazzled sight of him as he hoses down a screaming child with one hand and unloads the dishwasher with the other. That, my friends, is romance. Well, it's what the best romances turn into if you're lucky.

As you read this, I'm probably putting someone into time-out, cleaning something, or explaining to my progeny why I put him/her into time-out or why I shouldn't have to clean whatever it was I just cleaned. Or maybe, if your timing is just perfectly right, I'm sitting on the purple reclining loveseat in a basement full of toys, writing my next big novel while my husband takes care of the chaos for a while.

For him, and for the kids and the stinky, cranky pets, and for the opportunity to tell you a story, I am grateful. I hope you enjoy my work.

I loved this book!

"Meant for Her" is fast-paced and well thought out with interesting twists and turns and an ending that surprises. I could not put this book down. I just had to see what happened to Hank and Julie. It was a great read and a book that I would recommend to my best friend.

Bravo, Amy! I am anxiously awaiting Book Two in the series.

I loved this book. The writing was great, descriptions were great, the characters were good. My absolute favorite quote from this book is:

“For your sister, I picture Nora Roberts playing the cello on the back of one of her books.”

“Who’s Nora Roberts?”

Julie looked at him like he had blasphemed. “Just one of the best romance authors of all time, thank you very much.”

When I read this, I laughed so hard. I have totally done this to my husband! How can he NOT know who Nora Roberts is?! This is such great writing, because its so realistic. The storyline is good with enough unexpected twists in it to keep me reading. The author also leaves an opening for a second book.

I can’t wait to continue reading this series when the second book comes out. I definitely enjoyed this one!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I had signed up to get a free copy on Librarything.com and was lucky enough to be chosen for a free copy. The book was exciting, well written and full of surprises that I didn’t see coming. I began the book late last night and didn’t want to put it down. I couldn’t wait to get back reading this morning. I love the way Amy writes, she moves from scene to scene in a way that keeps you wondering what will happen next. Keep up the great work Amy. I will be watching for more of your writings in the future.
