Extended description

A rolling tremor passes through the land of Uton signaling a return of long absent magic as well as an ancient evil that accompanies it. Ryson Acumen, purebred delver, senses the changes and begins his explorations to discover the source behind the upheaval. In his investigations, he learns that legends he considered fables hold more truth than fantasy. The delver encounters elves and learns the Sphere of Ingar, a talisman that captured all magical energies long ago, is free from its tomb in Sanctum Mountain. As violent, evil creatures return to shred the very fabric of reality, the sphere gains awareness and chooses to spew corrupted magical energies to obliterate all life.
The sphere must be destroyed, but it rests within Sanctum, a hollow mountain with a single path to its center. The way to the sphere remains defended by devices created long ago, forged by members of each race to thwart entry to the mountain's core. Those that wish to defeat the sphere must not only overcome.. (Read more)

Loved this first book of the series!!! The reading flowed nicely the descriptions were great and not overly done. The story line flowed easily and drew me in to become a part of the story. I love this book and will be downloading the rest of the series today!

Book on was really well written, though it did have a few downfalls. The plot seemed to swayed on one subject. Though the main point of the story is about the Sphere, it's really about the delver and his sword.

A truly wonderful magical sword that, though made by one species, awakens to it's full potential in another, giving him god like powers of premonition at times, and at others leaving me the reader grasping for understanding at to what is going on.

I truly enjoyed reading the first book and am looking forward to reading books two and three soon.

It's worth the time it takes to read it, couldn't put it down, and had a blast even though it had some decent sized plot holes.

The flow is wonderful through the land of Uton! While rooting for the good guys/gals I was almost depressed that I couldn't be there helping them. Loved every second spent in the pages of Sanctum's Breach.

This is the first book I have read by Jeff Inlo. I thought it was very good. I started the second in the series and was glad to see that there is a third. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes magic and fantasy books.

Another amazing book by Jeff! I read "When Do I See God?" and was blown away! I just finished Delver Magic I and am on Delver Magic II and can't say enough about this series! It's a fantastical cross between "Avatar", "Harry Potter", Wizard of Oz" and "Lord of the Rings". All wrapped up into one thrilling, captivating series...and yes, there is a Delver III, I just don't see it on here. All of his books are easy-reading, but you simply cannot put them down. I read them on my Nook and it literally goes everywhere with me...that way I don't have to miss a single word or wait until I get home to start the next one. This series would make a BLOCKBUSTER movie and I hope Steven Spielberg or James Cameron is paying attention because they really should jump right on this! Jeff is able to bring all his characters to life in ways you wouldn't believe...even the landscape and sky is right in front of your eyes in bold, brilliant detail! How he does it is beyond me, I'm just glad he does! You will NOT forget any of his characters and you'll find yourself wondering what they're up to long after you finish the books. You just have to remember, they are not real...but the product of a dazzling author's imagination. Keep going, Jeff! And Hollywood....PAY ATTENTION!
