The story itself was promising, but about halfway through the writing became rushed and the editing got sloppy. Like the previous reviewer, I found myself skimming the last third of it. I feel like this could have been expanded into an entertaining novel. It reminds me of my first story and I still really love the cover so I can't hate it.

I really liked it. The story flowed well. It read like a prologe. I think he needs to write more with these characters.

Though well-edited with easy-to-read prose, the ebook is hard to get excited about. It reads more like a summary of a teenager's life than a story. The pacing is slow with a lot of filler between the interesting bits, and I ended up skimming. At 99 cents, it's hard to complain though. Give it a try. Maybe you'll be more into it.
