With little experience reading poetry, I was a little uneasy reading this book. However, I had nothing to worry about as the writing was so good my lack of knowledge wasn't an issue. It is hard to make words real to a reader, but the author does that and then some. Honest, dark and daring, these poems were a joy to read. I personally enjoyed 'Innocence' and 'Loneliness'. Do yourself a favor and pick this book up. Great job.

Between fantasy and despair, each poem reads like a story or a song, beautiful and soulful. Its hard to find good modern poetry where the author isn’t trying to sound like they come from the old world. These poems read beautifully and honestly, laying emotions bare for the reader to flow into. The poems ‘Sadness’, and ‘Death of a Flapper’ are my favourites, though the ‘when darkness falls’ poems were just as beautiful.

Wicked Dream and Beautiful Nightmares, takes you on a poetic journey into realms of darkened verses. Traversing you from darken gothic sadness, to feeling small rays of shining hope. It’s a fantastic read and a worthy purchase for your tablet. Poems such as ‘The Dragon and The Witch’ and the entire ‘When Darkness Falls’ series (which I come to call the W.D.F. series) are wonderful reads!
