This short-short romance story was originally written and posted on my blog in early September 2011. To date, it has continued to remain one of the top rated and reviewed pieces on my blog. Oh my goodness... First of all, NO. This story should NOT be longer! I wont give anything away, but I wanna, this is a perfectly sweet story that gives the reader the feel of exactly what the author intended!!! So very nice.

This very short story conveys a lot of emotions in few words. It is very easy to relate to that crush from our school days. I would like to read a longer story developed from these premises.

A lovely short story that really touches the heart. In a few pages this author amazingly creates a multitude of memories and feelings that reminds us of how exhilerating that first crush can be.

This was a beautifully written read by Tracy James Jones that only 'she' can give to us the reader. "The Crush" can only be summed up by the one word for me ....'TOUCH' that started at a early childhood age and is still there through HS and even now at the 10 year class reunion. These were definitely awesome feelings of a 'lifetime' never to be forgotten. I was able to relate to this short story that made me even think back to that time in my own life. "The Crush" was such a sweet short story that has been very well told in just a few words by a amazing author Tracy James Jones... Thank you!

Author Tracy James Jones writes an emotional and heart felt short story you will love. I think every one can relate to their first crush. I thought of mine and the conflicting thoughts that went along with it. Truly, a story I will read again and again.
