About Emma Wayne Porter

Published author and former editor-in-chief Emma Wayne Porter started out as one of digital publishing's mouthiest detractors. Then she tripped, hit her head, and finally got it through her thick skull that digital publishing is the marriage of her two favorite things: books and computers.

After years of observing and participating in the industry -- and bullying her gaming buddies into writing conversion software -- she's decided that ebook production is way more fun than writing blurbs, proposals or, quite frankly, author bios.

Emma is currently working on a number of author support projects, including The Nuclear Method walkthrough(s) and a self-editing guide written especially for fiction authors publishing digitally.

Went through this somewhat drastic method of stripping files of their formatting. It works well, and I reccommend the method to ebook publishers who are struggling with the conventional way of getting published.

Emma has done a fantastic job of converting and extremely complex and confusing chore into a step-by-step process.
If you're planning on publishing your own eBook you owe it to yourself to get this one.
Thank you, Emma!

A useful description of the process the covers, with step-by-step instructions. Especially useful for people wanting to submit their ms to Smashwords when they have done their original format for a print book. Clearly explained, easy to follow.
