Cyril Opoku is a graduate from the University of Toronto, holding a Bachelor of Science Honours degree with a speciality in Genes, Genetics and Biotechnology. He also holds a post-graduate diploma in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance and Quality Control from the Toronto Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology. After his education and training, Cyril worked as a professional in the Canadian pharmaceutical industry for a couple of years, following which he gained admission into University of Waterloo's School of Pharmacy to train to become a pharmacist.
After one year of training as a student pharmacist, Cyril surrendered to the providential circumstances that he believed was God's last call to him to leave his pursuit and instead train to be a voice for Him in this generation. With guidance and encouragement from Rev. Joseph Osei-Amoah, Cyril left his pursuit to become a pharmacist, and enrolled in theological studies towards ministerial credentials with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.
As a Bible Teacher and a Prayer Warrior Leader for more than a decade now, Cyril proves to be a man with an uncompromising message on the Holy Spirit and prayer. He combines sound biblical teaching on prayer with practical demonstrations of the same. Cyril has a passionate burden for revival, and has organized and led several prayer meetings in Ghana and Canada.
Cyril is the founder of Quest for God, an organization that is committed to promoting a quest for an unprecedented fiery revival of all times in this generation. Quest Publications, a division of Quest for God, is a portal that assists Christian authors to self-publish their manuscripts to major worldwide book retailers, including Amazon.
Currently, Cyril serves as part of a local assembly affiliated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, located in Toronto. He lives in Mississauga with his lovely wife, Freda, and their son, Avery-Elijah.
