This series just seems to get better and better. It had me guessing what was going to happen. I also really like Madden he is so full of mystery and I feel as though he's someone I'd like to have as a friend. Can't wait for more installments!!

I enjoyed the placid start and then the development of the story which promised something unknown and thrilling to come round the corner! And Madden ... he is such a resourceful character who is tinged with mystery yet is a likeable guy! You are led along wondering what has befallen the children until ........you must read it yourself!

I am loving this series! Each book give a little more information on Daisi and the neighbors. This focuses on Mark and Anna and their children, and I love the twist! I want more! I want more! I want more! Vampires, ghosts, you mix them all and make me laugh. I don't think I'd want to live in the Presidio, but I'd sure love to visit there some day! I am enjoying the author's imagination and writing talent. I want more! I want more!
