the ending was a little puzzling. The hint of things to come ealier in the story pushed the story on and kept me intrigued.

I liked Complications, for the most part, but I had a problem with the twist at the end. I understood what the author was going for, but having the main character produce a gun, knowing what he already knew, didn't really make sense. Other than that, the writing was clear, it flowed well and did a good job of engaging me. If the story was longer, I would give it more stars.
