I live in rural Australia where I grow proteas and still ride horses.

Peta Carr cleverly introduces the story and ends it in the same note providing charming accounts with usual characters of her past in-between. It was well written and an absolute joy to read.
Peta provided great insight into her life giving us a view of her misfortunes and the exciting, humorous side to running her riding stable. I highly enjoyed the hilarious antics that occurred between her children, riders, parents, moneygrabbers, farmers, social workers and animals alike which as you can see by this list, gives an array of tales that will absolutely delight. I still get the giggles thinking of these cheeky antics and can’t wait for her next book.
This is definitely a book I would read over & over again and highly recommend it to those looking for a light entertaining read.
