I really enjoyed this book. It was a simple read, meaning I didn't have to struggle to get into the story. It was moving and funny at the same time. I am really looking forward to ready about the friends in the next books

I downloaded the book based on the many favorable reviews but after struggling part-way through, I am going to beg to differ. The 'plot' was boring, the characters unrealistic, and the constant reference to mutual but unrequited lust tiresome.

Really 3.5 stars. Thought the writing was well done, enjoyed the story line and characters, including the way they interacted with each other. However, found that the characters and story line were a bit predictable in terms of what happens to them, how they interact with each other, their emotional development (yes, I know. It's a romance, so things tend to work out well at the end. I wasn't talking about that type of story line!). I would still read the series, but spaced far apart from each other as I'll get bored with the books once you know what will happen to everyone throughout each book. It can all be the same after awhile.

This is a great read! I love the way the characters are developed through conversation, and the story unfolds in the same manner. I'm not a big fan of in-your-face erotica - this was more subtle. Also LOVE the cover!

I really, really liked this book. I was turned off by the title, but then I read the book and fell in serious like. I laughed and read and could not put the book down. The characters were the best because they spoke their minds...a real problem in most romance stories. I say it is a must read...really great.

I must admit I adored this book. It had all the right balance of things that make a re-readable book. And the story of love, heartache, and forgiveness makes it all more appealing! Great book! Totally loved it! Would reccomend it!

Okay...I'm hooked. I downloaded this ebook last night and was up until 3 o'clock this morning because I couldn't put it down. I will be purchasing the other 3 books today. I have given this book 4 stars and the only reason I didn't give it 5 was some typo errors through out the book which stopped the flow of reading for a second when I had to go back and reread a sentence to figure out the meaning due to the typo. There wasn't a lot of them, but enough that I felt it should be noted. But great story and characters!

I wasn't going to download this book because we'll I'm the age of the main female character and didn't want to read a sleazy account of older woman/younger man. I'm glad I reconsidered. I truly enjoyed this book and have purchased the 2nd and 3rd installment of Never Too-Late. Very nicely written and the characters were believable. Can't wait to read the 2nd book. Just about to download it now.

I really enjoyed Dating a Cougar's storyline. I agree with the authors perspective about sophisticated love/romances since I am no longer 30. I smile, laughed and "almost cried" and appreciated Ms. MCDonald's message and it is a good one.
Alexa confident, self assured, smart, business minded and generous. Casey is determined, creative and OMG sexy. Since I live in Maryland I knew the visualization of the settings were easy to relate to.
Keep writing and I'll keep reading. Way to Go Donna!!

Warning! If you start reading this book you will find it hard to put down. Alpha male meets alpha female--and sparks fly from the beginning. This is a highly entertaining read, yet the characters come across as real people who have known heartbreak and challenges over the years. I found myself rooting for them to earn their happily ever after. They do, but not without a few bumps along the way. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series. From now on Donna McDonald is an author on my permanent "to read" list.

An amusing story were two individuals who come from varied backgrounds but have very similar personalities butt heads until their love spark pushes everything else out of the way. I enjoyed reading it and thought it was well paced.
