Craig and I have only connected a handful of times since our years in High School. 30 years have passed and yet, after reading his book, we are kindred spirits. I will join Craig on the battlefield of the gridiron of life anytime.

Be Tough Without Being a Tough Guy is a book which spoke deeply to my spirit. Was there anything new that I read? Nothing new that my mind has never heard before. But my spirit and soul felt as if I had just came upon some new revelation.

Craig's life experiences as coach and teacher are not limited to these roles, but transcend into the role of "fathering." The ultimate coach, the perfect teacher, is, at heart, a father. The words written in this brief tome call forth every inner child to grow up and be a real man, no matter what your chronological age is today.
