About Regina Clarke

REGINA CLARKE was born in England and grew up near Boston, Massachusetts. With a doctorate in English, she expected to teach forever, but instead spent many years writing for corporations, creating books on network management systems, virtual protocols, and military surveillance software. Yet during those years, writing fiction and fantasy was an ongoing process that has now become a full-time passion. Her stories have appeared in Thrice Fiction, Kzine, Bewildering Stories, Subtle Fiction, Mad Scientist Journal, Over My Dead Body!, and NewMyths.com, among others. She has also been a ghostwriter for a preacher in India, published a book on environmental management, and created an online workbook on soul development for the A.R.E. in Virginia Beach. In the spring of 2012 she was a finalist in the Hollywood SCRIPTOID Screenwriter’s Feature Challenge for her script about a mother seeking the disabled child she had abandoned, in “Second Chances.”

When not writing, she follows her passion for reading mysteries, film noir, science fiction B-grade movies, biographies of writers, metaphysics, and all wildlife. She has a wonderful son who has lived in Austin, Texas for many years. After working on both coasts, in Texas, and overseas, she has settled in the Hudson River Valley in upstate New York and it pleases her no end to live not very far from where Rod Serling grew up and Jane Roberts encountered Seth.

Regina has a brilliant and very green eclectus parrot named Harry who talks a great deal about himself. Her favorite venue of choice is the local coffee shop and/or any place with fairy lights as the decor.
