Description

The Surgery is a fictional suspense thriller/comedy, depicting my most recent visit to the dentist office. It will keep you on the edge of your seat and then make you fall off laughing! "I was laughing the whole story!" - said the authors wife. " Best story I've read today!" - said a friend on Facebook.

I thought it was a very cute, silly and fun read. I enjoyed it!

I think it was a fun story for a regular Joe and not a professional write. The chapter titles were entertaining and the sense of humor is my style. Even the description of the story had humor in it that one of the reviewers evidently didn't pick up on. Putting comments by ones wife and best friend is obviously meant to be funny. The end of the story was nice as well. Something different than what I had anticipated. Obviously, I am not an editor, so I am not going to comment on punctuation, just on the story, which I enjoyed.

I have to agree with the reviewer below. Still, that doesn't mean one cannot improve. It might be best to remove the compliments given by your wife and friend though (if you are the author). It make you seem silly since those weren't given by people likely to be truly critical of the work.

They were probably just humoring you.

Very poorly written. Many punctuation errors. Many tense changes.
