Short description

The Gospel of Luke is a variation on the other two before it and the one after it. Luke speaks with authority though perhaps not so much love for Jesus. His angle is a little more like Paul. Luke does inspire a little outrage. Though most believers would find such a notion blasphemous, the writer of the New New Testament suspects that this may have been intentional. A dare to question.

There are many these days trying to make the bible work. Some will go to any extreme with no regard for physics. This will get us no where. We must come to understand that the books that have been sold to us as holy are nothing more than old fairy tales. When we can finally drop our paranoia about the great dictator in the sky and the devil down below, which is complete nonsense, we can approach the book with more curiosity as to what the writers wanted to tell us.

Mostly they wanted to tell us to obey the Emperor. Accept the aristocracy as god chosen. Obey and do not question authority.

This is no longer acceptable. We have evolved with a big brain because it is useful for survival as well as a few other things. We have shut down and become sheep. We must throw off our beliefs and wake up. Jesus tried to tell us this 2,000 years ago and he was ignored. And not at all politely.
