Extended description

**This is the second edition of the bestselling novel—formerly titled The Awakened: Book One—featuring new chapters, updated maps, and additional reference material.**

THE HISTORY: Over five thousand years ago, a renegade faction of angels abandoned the spiritual realm and began their inhabitation of earth. Worshiped as gods for their wisdom and power, they corrupted the realm of the physical and forever altered the course of history.

THE PROPHECY: Amidst the chaos of a dying world, a lone voice foretold the awakening of a human warrior who would bring an end to this evil perpetrated against all of creation. But with the cataclysmic destruction of earth and rebirth of humanity, the prophecy went unfulfilled and faded from the memory of our kind—until now!

THE AWAKENED: The physical dimension is fractured. What remain now are numerous fragmented worlds moving simultaneously through time, sharing a common history, connected only by a guarded portal. On a parallel earth, in.. (Read more)

OMG. First off I had a hard time putting this ebook down . This was such a good read , very cohesive with the many different story lines. Your ending made me verbally cry out NOOOOO!! It being 2 AM at the time , my boyfriend was not too happy, I desperately kept turning pages in case there was a mistake and I had inadvertently skipped to the end. You bad bad man!! I am hooked on this book. And need to read more. So clever. Talk about a cliff hanger...Must. Read. More.....
Bring on Book two !!!!!

Jason Tesar writes a very creative story line that definitely kept me guessing and not wanting to put The Awakened: Book One down. He shows skill in dividing the story into credible story lines following the characters. I can't say I always appreciated being kept hanging, waiting to see what would happen. I can say I did not lose interest and felt compelled to keep reading to learn how it would all work out. I was drawn into each characters persona and eagerly read on to see how the constant twists and surprises would propel the character into more action. I look forward to continuing the series; I have so many unanswered questions...

Pretty good story, rich characters and intricate plotting. Only complaint is that I still haven't figured out what the first few chapters have to do with the rest of the story. I am sure it will be revealed later on, but right now it's a bit frustrating, not knowing the why. The rest of the story bounces back and forth between the remaining characters, yet nothing is revealed of Adair's fate.

Nonetheless, I recommend this book. It's been a fun journey so far.
