this story has merits that stretch across several themes. Early on in the piece when Lilly sees a face in the mirror of her bathroom the little hairs on the back of my neck stood up. There are definitely elements of suspense and certainly a compelling mystery that drives this romantic drama along. Early on in the piece I was likening this book to Audrey Niffenegger's 'The Time Travelers Wife', the multiple scenes that the story kept crossing reminded me of Henry's troubled life.

I have to agree with Kristen! I am definitely a Team Nicholas! Haha. He was a great Character. But his obsession in the end, with Lilly was a tad bit out of character, it seemed.

I really enjoyed the book, I could barely put it down! I was super disappointed in the ending. So confused, that I even cussed about it to my husband! ha. Needless to say, husband didn't care what I thought about the book.

At least there is a 2nd book coming (or is out?). So I can get off this cliff. ;)

It's difficult to describe a book that takes so many twists and turns and has no definitive ending in sight. I will say, I felt the connection with Nicholas, Lilly's best guy friend. I felt the intense disdain for Charlotte after Charlotte accuses Lilly of trying to steal Nicholas away from her. I even felt Lilly's desire for the unknown and the mystery of Elliott, although by the end of the book I was more 'team Nicholas' than team Elliott.
