In the past, I used to get frustrated with trying to go in some directions I wanted to go, and it seemed like I'd encounter one road-block thrown in after another if I tried going certain directions. I also noted green-light smooth sailing if I did something else, and in the last few years, I've paid more attention to these road-block and green-light oddities, and began to asked myself, "Is there more here than this seems?"
I would never have searched for, or even have began reading this book because not only do I have half a dozen other books I bought at an earlier time which I planned on wanting to read when I had time, but the books I usually read are categorized as practical, mathematical, technical, and scientific in nature, yet, part way through reading this book, I was surprised to find I was putting other priorities aside to make time to continue reading this book to the end.
...because I was delayed, AND ended-up somewhere I hadn't planned on being, AND met someone I hadn't seen in many years, AND - who then recommended that I read this book... in retrospect, I look back and see that there was so many chances of not reading this book, but the timing of it all, which finally got me to reading it, was, like, wow! Sometimes it seems the universe has a sense of play, or a sense of humour, but either way you put it, if I hadn't been delayed, I would probably continue to be frustrated with, you can't do this, or you can't do that, but now instead, I learnt another point of view given by the author, which is, instead of being stopped to be "over-there", perhaps you are supposed to be "right-here", at that moment.

I had the ultimate privilege of meeting the author Corinne Champagne & her family yesterday.
Those that have read her e-book "That Moment" will agree it is an accumulation of inspirational, non-fictional short stories.
I also met her grandmother of 99 yrs. Corinne writes about her in one of her short stories.
The story of her grandmother came to life for me, even more so when Corinne placed my hand behind her grandmother's head, just behind the ear. Her writing became so very real for me, what I felt, what this woman of 99 years went through as a baby and how she survived such brutality.
As I removed my hand, her grandmother's beautiful eyes & smile captured my heart instantly. I continued to ponder over my thoughts throughout the evening.
Yes, we all have a history and with something as simple as a touch, I was moved beyond words.......this was part of her history.
Today, as I reflect, I feel even more inspired.
Remarkable women and a remarkable story.
I sincerely believe you will also be moved by "That Moment."

I really enjoyed this book by C.C. Champagne, "That Moment". Each chapter was a different true story that was either part of the author's life or someone close to her. It reminded me of things that happened to me at "That Moment" in my life and why I was there.

Awesome book C.C. Champagne! I love your intuitiveness and the fact that you actually listen to your senses instead of ignoring them and plodding on with life. If we all did this, the world would run like a finely tuned machine, I am sure! Your combination of stories was inspiring. It all just goes to show you that we are all exactly where we need to be at any given moment. It's allowing the moments to happen that is the key. Thanks for the reminders:) I will recommend your book to my friends.

"That Moment" is a wonderful accumulation of real life stories, that covered history, geography & holding my attention with some suspense, some intrigue, laughter & moments that touched my heart. It truly is about "that moment" when pieces of life's puzzle come together for whatever reason...angels? spirit? Devine Intervention? It's an inspirational, easy & affordable read. I was thrilled to read a book where the author brought words to life.

This book was very well written and the sequence in which the stories were laid out made you want to read on. The writer is extremely talented by showing how she experienced events that most of us would just walk on by. By reading this book inspired me to be more aware of my surroundings and look for the moments when the angels are talking to me to stop for a minute and listen and perhaps help someone. Incredible book!!

I really enjoyed the different stories in this book and was struck by how all of them related in a way about how life can surprise and yet give you a sense of how there's a cosmic impact to all that happens on Earth.
The book spoke to me in a way I could imagine myself being among those in the stories, and made me ask myself how would I feel about how situations ended up. I like how all of the stories involved different aspects of the human condition! Very thought provoking.
Good one Corinne!

The author has a lively writing style I found very easy and interesting to read.
Once I started the book, I really wanted to keep reading, I couldn't wait to see what the next story was.
The stories in "That Moment" are vivid with emotion and contain lots of history in different countries.
I think this book should be used as English Literature curriculum in the School system, so our future student in different ethnic groups understand part of the history of their ancestors. I highly recommend this book to all.

Corinne has written a wonderful book that captures the emotion and soul of some everyday events, and turns them into beautifully written stories. Her wonderful empathy for humanity reaches out of the pages and touches one's heart, leaving a warmness that percolates into the depths of one's being. I loved reading these delightful tales and often found myself smiling when recalling memories of them.
Thank you Corinne, for your wonderfully positive outlook and your lovely book of hope.

I enjoyed the reading time I spent with Corinne's book "That Moment...". I started out reading with a little scepticism but found myself lured by thoughts of a special force, guardian angel, or whatever one calls it, that might indeed be watching over me. Her writing skills took the stories of everyday people's lives, and events that occurred within them, and found the positive threads that linked life events. This showed me that there are forces out there that we do not understand, but yet, do demonstrate that things do happen for reasons unknown to us at the time. After reading Corinne's book I must admit to being a person that now sometimes looks up to the sky and wonders who or what will be my guardian angel today. A fine read that I recommend others enjoy also.

Some great stories. Very interesting and easy to read. It is easy to relate to because the stories are based on real events. Everyone has heard true stories about a friend of a friend that leave you saying "wow, that's unbelievable!" This book takes the reader step by step through some amazing stories and all the random events that lead up to a certain outcome.

A delightful read that will bring a smile of similar recognition. Corinne demonstrates a compelling argument that we each have a guide and when one behaves in ways that gives goodness to others, we feel better about ourselves and our own consciousness is raised. Corinne writes excellent short stories illustrating her own sensitivity to "guidance and its gifts” that make a genuine difference in the quality of life in those we help but also in our own lives. The reader cannot miss her sense that the universe also allows a "sense of humor". A very refreshing read for all ages.

I can so relate to this book and it's touching stories of human compassion and love all driven by what some cynics may call serendipity, others say luck. However the authoress knows there is a driving force outside of our domain which can only be put down to a heavenly power manifest in all experiences of misfortune. One door closes and another opens in all our vicissitudes of pain or anguish. Those doors are opened by angels.Corinne has encaptured some of those events in a very gifted fashion that can only have been driven by a strong faith in God and his powers.A wonderous book that lightens the soul and warms the heart.
