Choke is a very entertaining novel. In reverse from most books, the mom is more of an intellect than the heroine.
Imogene is charming and lovable, yet not the brightest star in the sky. She always seems to find trouble, and then through weird happenings, like throwing an object out her car window, she helps catch the bad guys.
This book keeps you hooked and hoping against hope that Imogene will find her way out of trouble once more.
I like to read for escape and this is a good escape book. throw up your feet, sit back and just enjoy the read.
