This book was a bit out of my realm of review criteria and I hesitated accepting it but I’m glad I did. It is erotica and it is a collection of short stories; just to let you know that right up front.
That being said, I enjoyed reading this book. The four stories were well written and, yes, full of sexual scenes but they, too, were well written. There were story lines for each of the four stories so it wasn’t just a matter of boy jumping into bed with girl, getting it on, and end of story.
Baylee made an attempt at creating believable characters and I think she did a pretty good job considering they are short stories. I’d like to see more by this author and an attempt to put together a full length book. I believe she definitely has to potential to create a good, ground shaking erotica book that will fly off the shelves.

I loved these stories, they painted a wonderful picture. Although the sex was the reason I started reading I found the storylines were what kept me reading....and made me want to read more. Can't wait to read the next one! x

I like anthologies of sex stories, but I don't normally see them by just one author. I decided to get this book because of the good reviews and I was happy I did.
Excellent plots and I always enjoy diverse characters. My favorite story was Act Three because I'm a screenwriter and it gave me some good ideas!

It’s very generous of Eden to include four novellas in her book Fall Into Winter. Many writers would have published it as four books and charged you the full price for each. Then they would have brought out two double novellas before finally publishing the quadruple novella anthology.
This is what modern book marketing experts recommend.
But Eden is very generous in lots of ways. She gives us four novellas at once and she gives a lot of herself in each of these four novellas. It’s this generosity that makes them special.
In The Asian and the Austrian there’s a character called Elena. When Elena tells the handsome Austrian that she has given up her job in banking to write erotica, he asks “These are stories about sex?”
“Not exactly,” Elena replies. “They’re not about sex, but they include it.”
Lots of novels and stories include sex. But in Elena’s stories the sex is very explicit and detailed. At least, it must be if her stories are anything like Eden’s.
Part of the thrill of reading Fall Into Winter is knowing, or imagining, that all of the female protagonists are really Eden. Eden in various thin disguises.
In the Austrian and the Asian the disguise is hardly there at all. Elena is Eden at her most naked, her most vulnerable, her most honest.
Because of this, it is a very touching story. Since I am also an Asian who has been to Austria, it is a story that I can very much relate to. The things Elena notices in Austrian culture are the things I noticed too. The sense of place is so strong that at times it is just like being there. And when you are reading erotica this good, that’s exactly the right place to be.
Elena’s observations about being an Asian woman in Thailand are also very accurate. You are not Thai but people treat you as if you are and expect you to behave in the same way. Both Elena and Eden are very good at fleshing out these background details that help develop the characters.
So I enjoyed these stories as stories and I enjoyed them as erotica. If Eden hasn’t already, I urge her to go and conspire intimately with one or two close-bosom friends so she has enough material for her next quadruple anthology. I understand the bees are already buzzing about the blossoms but I can hardly wait for the whistling of the redbreast so I can pluck more fruits from Eden’s bountiful garden.

I really loved these stories by Edan Baylee. They contained enough detail to keep me interested but not too much to steal the focus away from the characters. She did a wonderful job of integrating sex into the story as part of the plot and not an afterthought. “Seduced by the Blues,” would have to be my favorite, I adore the older woman/younger man scenario’s. I recommended this book to all who can handle hot sex wrapped up with an intriguing storyline, you are in for a great read.

My wife got this book as part of some promo and told me to read just one of the stories, so I did. I ended up reading them all. I had no idea about erotic writing and it was a surprise to me that Ms. Baylee wrote so well about sex-I mean she really doesn't hold back on the description of the sex scenes which I really liked. I also happen to be Norwegian, so that was my favorite story.
I have told my wife to keep a lookout for her next book.

I don't read many anthologies. I prefer to get into a book and get to know the characters, and the short story format is usually not long enough to develop a good story.
I was very pleasantly surprised that Ms. Baylee was able to present her characters so well in such short pieces. I got enough history on the characters to make me care about them, and they were all very different. Her style is very to the point without too much boring backstory and they move along at a fast pace.
I look forward to reading more of her books.

I loved this book! All the stories were amazingly hot but also very romantic. The first story - 'Seduced by the Blues' about a younger man and older woman is like me and my husband and I could relate. It made for a very sexy night for us!
Thanks Eden for such wonderful writing!

The stories were well written, and the characters enjoyable, but there was something missing. It felt as if it was supposed to be meant as a sensual read rather than a rauncy one, but the author's choice of words was not what I would expect of a sensual story. Words like twat, snatch, prick, ect... just seems out of place for the stories. There were some parts of the book that I would've loved to see more developed. Just as I was getting into a particular scene, it would end and move on to something else. All in all it was a good, quick read. The characters were well developed for short fic, and the stories were believable.

Eden Baylee has written four wonderful stories in her first book "Fall into Winter". I was not a fan of short stories and a little hesitant about reading it. Once I started though I could not put it down, each story was fantastic! Ms. Baylee made a fan out of me, I cannot wait to see what she has next.

Eden Baylee has written four exotic tales of love with an erotic flair. The novella "Act Three" is the most explicitly erotic novella but even it has a strong romantic theme. The rest of the novellas are romance novellas with erotica spicing them up and adding a little heat to the mix. I guarantee these novellas will leave you breathless. Thank you Eden for writing "Fall Into Winter," it is a beautiful book and resonates with those of us who love the HEA.

In my experience, finding erotica with engaging characters and strong plots is unusual, and it's downright rare to find a collection of erotica with those qualities that is as elegantly written as "Fall Into Winter." These stories feature strong, self-possessed women who know what they want sexually and aren't afraid to get it. Each of the four novellas in this collection take you to the edge of fantasy but not so far out that they lose plausibility; if you like erotica that takes place in the realm of the possible, this book is for you. Sexy, arousing and fun, this elegant, witty collection is an honest, playful exploration of sexuality, seduction and lust. Eden Baylee is exceptional.
